The story of le Pencil.

Click play to play this song for additional effects :)

Once upon a time, a Pencil Maker decided to make a pencil. So he gathered the woods and carbons and assemble them and tadaaaaa!

He managed to make a beautiful pencil. He decided to sell the pencil.

But before doing that, the Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box.

"There are 5 things you need to know," he told the pencil, "Before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best pencil you can be."

"One: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in Someone's hand."

"Two: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you'll need it to become a better pencil."

"Three: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make."

"Four: The most important part of you will always be what's inside. (Quality of carbon)."

"And Five: On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write."

The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.

Now replacing the place of the pencil with you.  Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best person you can be.

One: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you hold onto something. Hold on to Allah and Islam. And also allow other human beings to access you for the many gifts you possess given by Allah.

Two: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, by going through various problems in life. T
his is the challenge of life. You won't always go through the easy road. Sometimes you'll find thorns which might tear off your skin. But you'll need it to become a stronger person.

Three: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make. You always have that eraser to erase the mistakes you make. It's normal that human make mistakes, but DO learn from it. Make it a life's lesson. And as long as you live, Allah will always accept your repentance. :)

Four: The most important part of you will always be what's on the inside. People appreciate you for what you are inside. No matter how you look on the outside, be sure that you care what's on the inside. That counts at Allah's side.

And Five: On every surface you walk through, you must leave your mark. No matter what the situation, you must continue to do your duties. You will always leave marks in people's life. Be sure you leave something useful and beneficial in their lives :)

This is a story told by my Lecturer, Bro Syams during class last year. He really is like the sunshine which brighten up our sight enabling us to see the world in a better way. I used to tell this story to people, but I don't know why, I'll cry everytime I started relating it with life. But this is a good story. Share this with other and let's be like the pencil shall we? :)
